...The sculptures of Ettore Cha have the form of memory.
Just as, in dreams, we recognize people, things and places, not by characteristical features, but by their ways of being, and emotional feelings, so is it thus for the memory.
We are inclined to remember things, by way of metonymy, as a complete things, as emotions recapitulate relationships, and movements that summarize forms.

Cha, reduces his figures, his fragments, his incomplete works, in a way, similar to that, with which memory moulds the objects of our experience...
